New Year's Day join Kris for the first of a 5 class series to learn about the myths of yoga.  When we practice yoga and flow through the poses (asanas) we are making the shapes of ancient heroes, sages, gods, and cosmic forces. Learning about these myths can enrich our practice, enabling us to embody these archetypes and move our practice beyond a physical expression.  Join Kris for a 5 class series to explore the stories behind these beloved poses. Learn about Kali, the fiercest goddess around; Ganesh the beloved elephant headed god; Lord Shiva and more.  Each class will be 75 minutes. Yogi’s will learn the myths and how they relate to our yoga practice and life. Each story will be followed by a 60 minute flow where the stories are weaved into a fun sequence inspired by that week’s tale. This class is appropriate for all levels.  Kali 1/8 - Hanuman 1/15 - Shiva 1/22 - virabradasana I II III 1/29 - Ganesha
