About the event

In a small, socially distanced group, learn the basics of yoga. Our exciting 4-week session dives into the fundamentals of anatomical posture, mindfulness, breath technique, basic yoga philosophy, studio etiquette and at home Yoga practice. 

Complete Yoga newbies or experienced Yogis who wish to refresh or deepen their practices will be enriched. Upon completion of the series students will successfully demonstrate their ability to analyze poses through their understanding of anatomical posture, even in an unfamiliar pose. 

Our section on mindfulness cultivates a more keen inner awareness. Follow feedback from your body and deploy the understanding of anatomical posture with modifications and props. Yogic teachings suggest us to embody a compassionate practice through non-harming (ahimsa). Modifications uphold ahimsa by avoiding injury through awareness. Everyday our bodies change. Meet yourself on the mat where you are right now.


This class will unite us through intension, but learn at your own pace in a supportive, encouraging and fun environment. You have everything you need to explore while on the mat and see where your practice leads you.
