Next session- Nov. 4th, 2023 12-5p EDT. Hands-on training for our Hybrid 200-HR YTY and Yoga Teacher Refresher Course. Join us for an afternoon of yoga alignment, covering standing, balancing, and stabilizing poses. Mountain Pose alignment will be presented as a template for all asana. We will map key anatomical maps through lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and practice to help participants learn alignment in these pose families. The poses will be taught to yoga sequencing so participants can intelligently and safely link poses together. We'll also discuss how each pose family has its own energetic (heating vs. cooling) effect on our nervous system and how we might use that knowledge to balance our energy. We'll also identify common misalignments, and we'll discuss modifications or props to remedy these misalignments. Current RYTs (registered yoga teachers) can earn 5 YA CE hours for attending.
Spaces are limited. Please cancel classes if you can not attend. Charges will be applied for no-shows. No exceptions. Kula Yoga & Barre reserves the right to cancel classes and change the schedule at anytime.
You must cancel 3 hours before class or you will be subject to $20 charge and forfeit that class from your pass. Our spaces are very limited for social distancing. Please be mindful that space could have been used by another person. Please cancel your reservation if you can not attend. Trapeze - may cancel up to 2 hours before class starts. Late cancelations and no-shows will be subject to a late fee of $10 or for no-show the cost of a drop-in pass = $22.
