Gentle & Restorative Yoga

Awareness, breath & gentle postures release tension from mind & body.

Service Description

A few gentle, mindful flows thoughtfully sequenced to release tension from the somatic tissue body. Postures are held for a series of breaths using props (e.g. blankets, pillows, straps, & blocks ). Props support your body, creating a sense of comfort and ease, allowing your nervous system to reset into peace. This class will leave you feeling refreshed, balanced & calm. Once the body is relieved of stress and aligned, guided awareness and breath work reinforce our peaceful practice, to decompress your body and mind. Essential oils and gentle massage may be incorporated into the class. Participation is voluntary, and the teacher will let you know ahead of time. Class is appropriate for beginners and seasoned yogis alike.
