Barre

Barre class is a form of exercise that combines elements of ballet, Pilates, and yoga. In a barre class, expect to use a ballet barre for support while performing a series of small, isometric movements and stretches. These movements target specific muscle groups, such as the arms, legs, glutes, and core. The benefits of barre include improved strength, flexibility, and posture, as well as increased muscle tone and endurance.

 

Barre classes are suitable for all fitness levels, as modifications can be made to accommodate different abilities. Whether you are a beginner or are a barre enthusiast, all are welcome! During class we always encourage everyone to listen to their body. It's ok to take breaks as needed or modify poses to practice in a way that honors you as you are today.
