Kula Yoga & Barre is a wellness community. The word Kula is a Sanskrit word meaning, "Community of the Heart." First and foremost we facilitate an inclusive community that promotes: peace, compassion and light.

Our class offerings are, in a sense, also a community. They are different modalities, just as we are different people with a variety of backgrounds and experiences. The selection of classes at Kula give you balanced wellness.

We offer 3 different types of classes: Yoga & Barre in Worcester, and Yoga Trapeze in Auburn. Our different classes compliment each other. The skills you gain in one style will carry into the others. Yoga is our foundation practice. We believe Yoga should be more than just a workout. Our Yoga classes are balanced. You'll experience just the right combination of 
breath-work, sweat, flexibility, balance, core-work and self-reflection. You are encouraged to practice with compassion for your body. We have props to assist you safely find postures. Practice in a way that brings you peace. We hope you feel inspired and uplifted after leaving the mat.
 
Barre class compliments Yoga. Barre is treated as a workout at Kula, while our Yoga classes are more spiritual. You will gain over-all strength, stamina, balance, flexibility and determination in Barre. Our Barre classes might include 2 pound weights, pilates balls or other equipment in addition to the wall-mounted Barre. The class is a fusion of Ballet Barre, Yoga, Pilates and HIIT (high intensity interval training.) We turn up the music, have fun, laugh and sweat!

Yoga Trapeze! What comes to your mind when you hear Yoga Trapeze? I bet class will be very different than you think! Come try it. You will only do what you feel comfortable and safe doing. Classes include strength and flexibility conditioning. Lots of core! One of the biggest benefits from Trapeze are inversions. Inverting is one of the best ways to reduce back pain. The class isn't circus tricks. It's accessible and doable for most people. Our trapezes have handles that function like TRX equipment. The benefit is we can do pulling exercises and other strength conditioning with them. Yoga lacks pulling motions. Barre & Trapeze will give you that.
